Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

Bit Bridge is built to do its job without ever knowing anything about you. It collects nothing, sends nothing off your device, and has no servers to send it to.

What we collect

Nothing. Bit Bridge does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There is no account to create, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs.

Your files

Every conversion happens entirely on your Mac, using Apple's built-in frameworks. The files you convert, and the files Bit Bridge produces, never leave your device. Bit Bridge does not upload them anywhere — it makes no network connections at all.

Permissions

Bit Bridge is fully sandboxed. It only reads and writes the files and folders you explicitly choose through the standard macOS open and save dialogs, and (with your permission) shows a notification when a batch finishes. These choices are remembered locally so it can keep writing to your chosen output folder.

Data not collected

To be explicit, Bit Bridge does not collect any of the following:

IdentityContactsLocation Usage dataDiagnosticsBrowsing history File contentsIdentifiers

Children's privacy

Bit Bridge does not collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page. Since Bit Bridge collects no data, any changes are expected to be minor and clarifying.
